Today, you will sign up for presenting and we will start presentations on MONDAY.

Altered Book Project = Spare time

Students who have completed EVERYTHING will have an opportunity to work on the 'collaborative' Altered book project.

the above links have interesting books created by numerous artists and they also include some techniques that they used. Below are some extreme and some interesting examples of 'altered books'
We will be making one as a class and will take turns (when assignments are complete)

Fence Project continued

Here are some examples of some of the amazing work created by artists and members of the community.
I have purchased some clear stain to go over the boards to seal them and so that they will retain the colour. It seems as though felt marker runs when painted over so be very careful not to spread colour where you may not want it. * Remember this is a collaboration piece between you and the community around you.

Good afternoon, today we are designing the fence posts and will be working through the creative process. Some of you have worked through mapping and concept development. You can begin once you have your three main ideas.

Good Afternoon

Yesterday we were working on various skills that included an intro to the elements of composition. We talked about line, value and some detail on colour. Today we will continue the line drawings and you will get an intro to colour, colour theory and an assignment on non-objective art.
